Following an early drop at Paris Fashion Week, Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE has gone live with a full contextual breakdown + release info for its latest ASICS collaboration. Raffles for two GEL-Nimbus 10.1 styles dubbed “HTTP 404” are up now on invinciblesp.com, closing July 10th.
As previewed in our initial coverage, the “HTTP 404” theme consists of distressed, semi-deconstructed overlays and large ASICS logos on the toe box. Exposed foam tongues fit well among the other design choices, as do subtle tan ripstop patches on the spine. Another swatch of synthetic material runs from the toe box to the tongue, while pre-dirtied treatments land on the center of the midsole. Otherwise, white mesh and metallic silver leather do most of the heavy lifting.
Leading the charge is a blue colorway reminiscent of anguish-inducing error screens, with the accent hue settling on the lace loops, insoles, toe box, and various portions of the sole. INVINCIBLE has also tee’d up an exclusive green colorway featuring accents in all the same areas, although the synthetic toe box/tongue remains in blue.
Both INVINCIBLE x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “HTTP 404” colorways are up now via raffle on the retailer’s website, with the deadline for new entries set for July 10th. The green colorway is an INVINCIBLE exclusive, but the blue will drop again through select ASICS retailers on July 19th. Both are priced at $6,580 TWD, which translates to about $220 USD.
