Above The Clouds Brings Y2K Style To The ASICS GEL-Quantum 360

A coincidentally common story across the footwear landscape, Above the Clouds is celebrating a significant milestone in 2025, ringing in 15 years of operation as one of Australia’s premier footwear retailers. It’s only natural that they look to one of their strongest brand partnerships to commemorate, recently launching a social campaign for the upcoming Above the Clouds x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 1.

The Australian outfit now intersects with a model that ASICS is clearly putting a ton of energy behind, as illustrated by the recent JJJJound GEL-Quantum 360 1 and a spate of impending GR looks. Above the Clouds goes a bit further in their rendition than the Montreal brand’s simplistic take, maintaining a neutral mesh base but anchoring that choice with contrast trim. While the shades differ between a deep wine red and a staid jet black, the two counteracting colorways are united by a Y2K-inspired metallic silver toe guard, helping to accentuate similarly shining metal eyelets.

Though retail pricing hasn’t yet been announced, we do know that the Above the Clouds x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 will release on July 26th, likely the initial onslaught before a wider release follows.
