The ASICS GEL-Lyte III Drops With Breezy Smoke Grey And Cream Coloring

Breezy like a Sunday morning with a creamy cup of coffee.

The ASICS GEL-Lyte III Drops With Breezy Smoke Grey And Cream Coloring

The Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed GEL-LYTE III is a flagship model for ASICS thanks to its timeless looks and comfortability. And, unlike Ronnie Fieg’s GEL-Lyte III, you can order these right off of ASICS website.

The creamy tones of this sneaker reminds us of the GEL-Lyte III “Mocha” colorway that dropped in the fall, which had a perforated leather toe box and base layer upper compared to the mesh material found on these. However, this Smoke Gray and Cream pallet isn’t quite as earthy. Instead, like the material it’s comprised of, this shoe’s coloring is lighter, crisper, floatier, inspiring us to dub it the “Breezy” colorway. The bluish-gray front half of the upper gives us ‘Lionel Richie on a clear Sunday morning’ vibes while the creamy back half gives us a coffee-like impression. A light roast, of course.

As is the case with just about every pair of ASICS GEL-Lyte III, these are available in both Men’s and Women’s and carry a sticker price of $120.
