Nike Running has revealed two performance-propositions co-created with artist Chaz Bundick (also known as Toro y Moi and Chaz Bear) before 2020 ends: a React Infinity Run Flyknit and Pegasus 37.
Touted as having been in the works for the past two years by the chillwave pioneer himself, the footwear and apparel collection features distorted “NIKE” branding, “Bright Cactus” accents and playful graphics from Bundick’s creative catalog. Whereas the newer Zoom Pegasus opts for a predominantly “Rush Violet” makeup, its Nike React-cushioned predecessor sets the stage for its floral, checkerboard and running illustrations with a “Black” base. Hits of “Sail” land on each sneaker’s sole unit, while also taking over the Zoom Air-assisted option’s lateral swoosh. Eye-catching green sockliners are stamped with the Travis Scott collaborator’s “©️OMPANY” branding and “ARTIST IN RESIDENCE” (A.I.R.) distinction.
Enjoy official images of each shoe ahead, and find pairs arriving to Nike.com and other retailers beginning today.
