The New Balance X-Racer Trail Sees A Familiar Outdoor-Ready Color Scheme

The New Balance X-Racer Trail Sees A Familiar Outdoor-Ready Color Scheme

The New Balance X-Racer Trail is following up its Bodega collaboration from June with yet another outdoors-friendly arrangement. Unlike previous iterations, however, the latest take on the trail-inspired silhouette is reminiscent of offerings from the Nike ACG line.

“Black” ripstop nylon sets the stage for “Mirage Violet” and other eye-catching hues across the XRCT’s upper. Red and gold New Balance-branding at the toe, midfoot, and heel complements the surrounding overlays clad in the the aforementioned regal hue. Breathable mesh tongues and their laces also indulge in the rich yellow and purple tones, with the former boasting a sporty “X-RACER” logo utilizing both colors. Underfoot, the lifestyle, ABZORB-cushioned model is tweaked for off-road traversing with a robust rubber tread.
