The Kids’ Nike Air Max 1 Gets A Classic “Dusty Cactus” Makeover

The Kids’ Nike Air Max 1 Gets A Classic “Dusty Cactus” Makeover

As part of their spring slate of kid-friendly Air Max releases, Nike has dropped a “Dusty Cactus” take on the beloved Air Max 1, exclusively in grade school sizes. A classic Air Max colorway, “Dusty Cactus” is most commonly associated with the Air Max 93, and also recently appeared on the Air Max 270 — but it’s safe to say that it looks just as good on the AM1 as it does on the other two silhouettes. Using a simple combination of white/grey as the base — while stark black detailing arrives on the leather mudguard — the shoe’s main accents arrive via the bright jade that’s used on the Swoosh, collar, and heel Air Max unit. Small pops of purple on the top two eyelets and heel branding then complete the look. If you’re looking to pick up a pair of these classically styled Nike shoes for your little one, you can snag these “Dusty Cactus” Maxes now at the retailers listed below for $85 USD.
