Any hoops fan is well aware of the grim fact that the 2025 NBA playoffs brought to bear — the Damian Lillard era in Milwaukee is in jeopardy after the perennial All-Star went down with a non-contact injury. However, the days since have brought some welcome news about Dame Time’s undying commitment: head coach Doc Rivers stated that the superstar stated defiantly he is “not going out this way.”

While the road ahead will be arduous, Lillard’s commitment to the team continues to play out in the present day in his signature line, with his new Wisconsin digs already factoring heavily into colorways we’ve seen so far. With the “Blue Burst” adidas Dame 9 at hand, it closely aligns with the cerulean “City Edition” jerseys that have defined both of Dame’s seasons in Milwaukee to this point. For recreational hoopers, it’ll likely just be a pretty pair to bring to local hoops runs, with a snowy gradient on the midsole adding to its flashy appeal.
