New Balance 990v3
The 990v3 is one of New Balance’s most prolific everyday sneakers. And though it may be outdated next to the much newer 990v5, the silhouette still maintains its reputation as the poster boy of the “Dad Shoe” trend.
Though once considered “uncool,” the silhouette has since been adopted by streetwear culture, with many often considering its collaborations to be some of their favorite New Balance releases bar none. To name a few, the model has linked up with names the likes of JJJJound, Stray Rats, and Slam Jam, all of which have made a lasting mark on not only the Boston-based footwear brand but also the resell market in general. JJJJound’s take, for instance, currently sells for upwards of $3,000 USD, a price never-before-seen for a pair of New Balances.
As it’s since been replaced by subsequent editions, the New Balance 990v3 is currently out of production. But, if the rumors that are surfacing are true, the model could be making a comeback as big as the 992’s back in 2020.
For now, take a look at the recent articles below. If any substantial confirmation of the aforementioned rumor is to surface, be assured you’ll learn about it right here on Sneaker News.
