Nike’s Retro-Future Take On The Blazer Mid ’77 Features Double-Layered Patterned Swoosh Logos

Nike’s Retro-Future Take On The Blazer Mid ’77 Features Double-Layered Patterned Swoosh Logos

Though a pillar of retro basketball, the Nike Blazer Mid 77 has undergone some drastic changes at the hands of sacai and fellow collaborators. And, as if following by example, the Swoosh’s inline design team have offered their own interesting variations — the latest marked with dual-layered checks.

The leather constructions offer themselves to the louder tweaks, its shell mostly neutral as it colors in a light tan. The hairy suede overlays that neighbor then match in shade, while the overlays forward prefer a blue-tinted grey. Logos at the heel tab and tongue then stamp the shift in design through new insignia, pairing it up with the aforementioned motif which pairs texture orange and Barely Volt cut-outs with an underlying blue print that’s scratched off around the peak of its arc.

Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect a release at Nike.com to arrive soon.
