Jovani Hernandez Although its fifth anniversary has been overshadowed by the adidas Superstar, the adidas Ultra Boost has dressed up in impressive, inline ensembles throughout 2020. The latest arrives clad in shades of “Base Green” and featuring the 1.0’s Primeknit upper.
Similar to a couple of collaborative pairs with Star Wars, the Boost-cushioned proposition indulges in rich green tones across its top-half. The most vibrant shade appears towards the forefoot, while the most drab takes over much of the collar and heel. Vibrant orange “adidas” branding on the tongue delivers military garb-reminiscent flair; the same hue appears on the sockliner. As with some of the most heralded Ultra Boost colorways, heel counters boast a “Core Black” scheme complemented with shimmering silver detailing, while sole units opt into a tried-and-tested white midsole/black outsole combination.
