Themed collections appear to be of great focus as of late for the Nike company as they’ve rapidly unleashed more of the members involved in their forthcoming capsule with 3M, as well as the “Peace, Love and Basketball” Pack. The latter, after showing off the Air Force 1 Low and Blazer Mid entires, is now extending its range to a recently-revived silhouette from the Sportswear archives: the Challenger OG.
Similar to its siblings, this offering is reflective of a Golden State Warriors-esque palette that calls upon angelic mesh upper constructions that are seated adjacent to “Game Royal” suede overlays and bright yellow Swooshes that come packaged with scaly textures. It makes sense that the Swoosh would play off the NBA franchise’s team colors considering that they are based out of San Francisco, a destination widely known for its thriving hippie movement in the 1960s. Morever, its motif is further expressed through symbols such as the embroidered smiley faces atop the heels and boney peach signs printed on the inserts. Peep an in-depth view at the pair here, and find these releasing on Nike.com likely within the coming weeks.
For other news, the Salehe Bembury New Balance 200R2 finally has a release date.
