Since 2004, Lauren Amos’ visions to provide a centralized hub for streetwear and sneaker lovers within the areas of Greater Atlanta have come into fruition through the retail efforts of WISH ATL. Lately, orders of business have mainly been taken care of the online front, in part because of COVID-19, and secondly, because they’ve been working on something extremely special for their customers — a completely renovated retail space.
Dubbed “WISH Remix”, the new flagship was designed by Chris Benfield of Benfield Partners, and draws heavy inspiration from the 15 years of creative collaboration that they’ve delivered to the ATL community. Inside you’ll find striking details such as a snapback installation that is backdropped by 55,000 shoe laces that form a static pattern, a “shoe library” of 10,000 books which now create a stairway to the bottom floor sneaker vault, clay dioramas crafted by artist Cindy Hsu, and more. Additionally, they’ll also be opening the doors again to The Gallery, which is a space that will host local and international artist exhibitions. Head over to wishatl.com to peep a look at their product assortment, and scroll further down to view more detailed shots of their impressive new establishment.
Elsewhere in sneaker-related events, LaMelo Ball has signed a shoe deal with Puma.
