The Next Set Of Nike’s “Worldwide Pack” Drops Features Logos In Katakana

Though yet another region-inspired collection in disguise, Nike’s constantly expanding “Worldwide Pack” seems to be most taken up with the vibrant energy of Japan. This Air Force 1, which effectively departs from the gold-clad Air Max 90 and the gradient-covered Air Max Plus before it, ostensibly draws from the bright city lights of Tokyo as well as the bold, oblique branding that was more common back in the day. This logo lock-up, though partly composed of the series’ main flag, is accented with Katakana along every one of its many, many appearances, dressing bold against a backdrop of a neutral off-white. Adjacent, neon green contrasts aggressively, creating a punchy aesthetic that work well with the swoosh and its thick black outline. Grab an official look at these right here and expect to find them at Nike.com hopefully within the coming months.

In other news, an Ultramarine Air Max 90 was just revealed.
