Stephon Gilmore Signs With Jordan Brand

After locking in two of the NBA’s young rising stars in Zion Williamson and Luka Doncic, Jordan Brand has been lately seeking to extend their representation beyond the basketball floor into other professional sports areas such as the NFL. Recently bringing Davante Adams on board, they are now expanding their roster with another member who is known to put in work on the gridiron – New England Patriots’ cornerback and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Stephon Gilmore. Other than the fact that you can expect to see Gilmore decked out in Jordan gear this coming season, the signing comes along with a few personal connections. Growing up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the he became a fan of watching the Charlotte Hornets who are now owned by #23, in addition to now holding closer ties to other Boston-based JB family members in Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum of the Celtics. Base off the interview that Jumpman conducted with the Pro-Bowl star, they discuss favorite Retros such as the Concord 11s and Air Jordan 1s, as well as revealing that design ideas for custom cleats are already in the works, so stay tuned as we learn more of what they cook up for the upcoming season.
