Before the NBA season went under temporary suspension, there were no doubts that the LA Lakers were going to be a worthy contender to compete for the Larry O’Brien as they had cemented themselves as the #1 seed in the extremely competitive Western Conference. And with King James continuing to perform at the highest level on the hardwood, it seems as though Nike Basketball wanted to ready a special pair of kicks for the kid from Akron’s potential Finals run. Previously shown in “Tune Squad” and “Bred” renditions, the Swoosh’s LeBron 17 Low is prepping for its next act as it has surfaced with championship-ready color schemes. A majority of its look is kept to a two-toned black and white base, which leaves space to the metallic gold accents to shine through its branded Swoosh logos and rear crown insignias for a somewhat similar visual composition to James’ white/gold LeBron X Elite option from 2013. Peep a first look here below, and find these releasing likely on Nike.com and at select retailers come April 17th.
