The Pro Model, which is arguably close to as retro as the Three Stripes gets, now dyes in a full, vibrant red, paying homage to the Windy City’s flags sans the light blue that accents its backdrop; more overt references then sit down the strip along the heel, whose embellishment are not only of gold-adorned trefoils but also a quartet of 6-pointed stars. Elsewhere, suede outfits the construction for an elegant aesthetic, liners come in complement, soles wash to a bright yet not bleached ecru, and the lateral sprawls with ornate embroidery, one that mimics classic tackle twill as it spells “Chicago” in clean cursive appliques.
