The Concepts x Nike Kyrie 6 “Khepri” And “Golden Mummy” Are Releasing Tomorrow

Out of the entire collaborative family, Concepts, Kyrie Irving, and Nike proper may be the most esteemed triumvirate of all, and after quick teases and a full reveal only a few days ago, their latest Kyrie 6 duo is set to arrive at the Boston-based retailer’s few doorsteps in near moments time. Adhering to a theme of Egyptian inspiration, both arrive dressed from head to toe in distinct facets of the rich culture — the “Khepri” colorway religiously following the solar deity of the same name. Its upper covers in a sun-kissed pink fitting of the being’s role as carrier of the sun while blue straps and sole units mark with a light blue, the former fixture adding scarab insignia in further nod. The “Golden Monkey,” however, outfits with further homage to Concepts’ founding in 1996, the same year that saw to the discovery of the Valley of Mummies; infusing this, the pair takes on gold-adorned graphics of a pharaoh just atop its midfoot with various hieroglyphics embellishing the white upper.
