Only days away from the collection’s full reveal, Nike’s 16th Doernbecher Freestyle is already confirmed to include the Air Jordan 14, but with the help of the ever-sleuthing US11, we are fortunate to catch a glimpse of the pack’s forthcoming Air Force 1, a staple now modified to the liking of one Zion Thompson. What ensues is a playful reinterpretation with little mind paid to branding itself; rather, the pair’s focal check is engulfed in rose appliques, a flower surely special to the young designer. These arrive even further though in embossed fashion along the toe caps and eye stays, staying white on white across the petals and vines themselves while sitting adjacent to leather skirts and heel tabs of a soft pink. Another patch of the main motif is stitched right onto the heel below a blank space usually reserved to an embroidered “Nike Air.” Elsewhere, insoles are dyed in compliment to the floral shade with “SURVIVOR” type scattering in perpetuity to match the same execution found on the outsole. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and expect to hear more about its release come November 8th.
