Donovan Mitchell’s Newest adidas D.O.N. Issue 1 Is Inspired By Fire Engines

Donovan Mitchell’s Newest adidas D.O.N. Issue 1 Is Inspired By Fire Engines

From the handheld lightsabers used by Jedi and Sith to a Utah Jazz great known as “The Mailman”, the inspirations behind the colorways of Donovan Mitchell’s signature shoes have covered a wide range of topics. This latest in-line release appears to be a nod to fire engines as it features a blazing yellow and red colorway and an “Engine 45” on the tongue, calling out the shooting guard’s jersey number. And although the jersey is not longer in circulation, these match the “City Edition” uniforms, which were inspired by the sunsets and state parks of Utah, that Nike created for the Jazz back in 2018. This newest release is coming on November 16th at the adidas Hoops retailers listed below, so get a closer look if you’re interested.
