Being one of them most eventful years for Kanye West himself — with his 9th studio album already released and many a Sunday Service going on in the background — the music artist turned sneaker designer has never once escaped the headlines. Whether a tool or thorn, his insanity has brought his famed adidas Yeezy line permanently into the spotlight as it unleashes new update after update, and though it’ll be just a bit longer for the Yeezy Boost 380‘s official debut, it might be making a much smaller splash at the “Jesus is King” pop-up built in honor of the same-named album. The activation is geared to take place at the same time as the LP’s release, surely with apparel dressed up in the cover’s vinyl-inspired art. Retailing for $230 USD, the aforementioned 380 “Alien” will likely be up for purchase in very limited quantities, so if you’re trying to get ahead of the game before it drops on November 16th, then make your way over to Downtown LA for the store’s opening today, October 25th.
Updated November 14th, 2019: adidas confirms that the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 release has been postponed to a later undisclosed date.
