Derrick Rose joined the rarified air of the double-digit signature shoe class as adidas launched his tenth model this year. The adidas D Rose 10, which launched earlier this year, should get a lot more of the limelight now that the former MVP is slated to get more minutes as a member of the Detroit Pistons, joining fellow #1 overall pick Blake Griffin in the East. In this pre-season, one version has stood out in our eyes – a familiar pairing of aqua green and pink that makes up the “Boardwalk” colorway that first debuted with the D Rose 4. These tropical tones are actually inspired by the time Rose rehabbed his ailing knee in the Southern Californian beachside region in the Summer of 2013. The good news is that adidas plans on releasing this sneaker during the Holiday season, so stay tuned.
