Yet to receive its official debut, the Nike Kyrie 6 has been met with unsponsored leaks and even a small appearance during one of the athlete’s training sessions. Moving on from the silhouette that has landed them partnerships with Spongebob Squarepants and Friends, the newer numerical is now taking on more adult themes with a colorway dubbed “Grand Purple.” Darkly tinted throughout, the pair is deep in references to secret societies like the Illuminati: the Eye of Providence subtly imprints through darker thread right at the lateral, sitting just above the white embroidered swoosh. Red heel supports add a pop of needed color with the rest of the palette relying heavily on the sultry purple shade. Straps follow suit, even laces and parts of the midsole, though neutral bottoms and logo hits of more vibrancy break up any sort of monotony. “VI” perforates in denotation of the model itself while equally cryptic motifs find their way to the graphic insole and heel molds. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and stay tuned for word on its official release.
