Nike Is Releasing An NCAA Collection With The React Element 55

With college football set to kick off soon and college hoops around the corner as well, Nike is paying homage to scholastic sports with an NCAA collection that’s based around their popular React Element 55. The Beaverton Brand is no stranger to school-specific makeups as last year saw a pack of bold Nike Frees plus classic shoes like the Air Force 1 on Nike By You, so this year it’s on the Element 55 to carry the trend. An Alabama Crimson Tide-colored pair is pictured below, and it combines the school’s red and grey hues with a text logo on the asymmetrical tongue and a team badge stamped on the insole’s heel. Although images of other designs have not yet surfaced, you can expect them to feature a similar ethos to this pair; one that’s centered around team color palettes and special school-specific branding. As Nike is the official sponsor of dozens of D1 universities like Oregon, Ohio State, Duke, and Texas there ought to be a truly expansive slate of releases, so be stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further info on the collection’s arrival as it’s available.
