The Nike KD 12 NRG Appears In A Crisp “Wolf Grey”

Kevin Durant may have left sunny and sanguine NorCal for the grit and grind of Brooklyn — and swapped Steph Curry for Kyrie Irving — but his signature Nike shoes are continuing on like it’s business as usual, with the Nike KD 12 NRG recently surfacing in a crisp new “Wolf Grey.” The upper is dressed almost entirely in soft grey tones, with technical accents arriving via a black midfoot Swoosh that’s constructed of a dotted print, underlaid multi-colored Flywire that provides both style and support, and a red text hit on the medial midfoot. The Flyknit tongue and soft heel collar are both dressed in a slightly darker grey for tonal contrast, with the top eyelet offering a small dash of metallic silver. The translucent midsole presents an interesting mix of tones, combining an icy blue with an ever-so-slight tan tint, and a full-foot red Zoom Air unit is visible directly through the pockmarked outsole as well. The Slim Reaper’s newest kicks will hit Nike.com soon for $150 USD, so enjoy a full set of official images right here in the meantime.
