This Nike Air Max 95 Recalls Stussy’s Earliest Collaborations

The Sergio Lozano-designed Nike Air Max 95 is an outstanding shoe in its own right, one of the most beloved Air Max silhouettes ever and a cultural touchpoint for mid-’90s footwear design. However, for its newest makeup, it’s seemingly drawing from a 2002 classic for color inspiration: the original Stussy x Nike Blazer. Offering an upper that’s split between crisp white and elegant navy tones, the wavy anatomy-inspired side panels are even more noticeable than usual, thanks to their yin-and-yang juxtaposition of light and dark tones. This summer-ready mix is then given a little extra flair by vibrant pops of pink on the tongue badge, heel’s Swoosh logo, and the white midsole, which splits its Air units between navy in the front and pink in the back. A navy outsole then rounds things off. These masterful Maxes will release on Nike.com July 11th for $170 USD, so peruse a full gallery of official images directly below while you wait.
