Although the adidas Ultra Boost is no longer the lifestyle darling it once was, the brand is still making some decent efforts to give this former blockbuster hit a level of appeal to the masses once more. That’s just the nature of fast-moving trends in the world of footwear because at one point, no general release was able to stay on shelves even at the full MSRP. The Ultra Boost does live up to its $180 price-point because it’s still one of the most comfortable shoes on the market (and perhaps ever), but the lack of the “it” factor is what caused a change in tides so quickly. Little details such as an exterior stitch pattern on the heel doesn’t do much quite honestly, although it’s satisfying to know that the original TPU counter isn’t the only option. This interesting take is set to arrive at adidas retailers soon.
