Nike Sportswear Reveals Collaborative Collection With Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, And De’Aaron Fox

De’Aaron Fox, Devin Booker, and Jayson Tatum have two things in common: they’re all part of the NBA’s fresh crop of rising stars, and they’re all Nike Basketball athletes. Now, they’ll be able to add a third thing to their list of similarities, as they’ve each received a collaborative iteration of a classic Nike Sportswear sneaker. Fox is represented by the Air Max 1, Booker by the Air Force 1, and Tatum by the Air Max 97, and each release is packed chock-full of special details that are meaningful and personal to the player in question.

Fox’s AM1s feature “What The” style colorblocking inspired by his love of astronomy, and use colors that are common to the planets in our solar system. The sockliner features aerodynamic-themed equations, and his “Swipa” nickname is embroidered on the heel, while his #5 appears on the tongue tag in eclipse fashion. On the other hand, Booker’s AF1 draws from his appreciation for a well-worn in pair of kicks, and features a crisp light blue upper with grey, silver and sail accents. The elongated hangtag is printed with his “D Book” nickname, while “Yes Ma’am” and “No Sir” are embroidered on the left and right heels respectively. The look is then completed by more special text on the insole. While Fox gazes into the stars and Booker looks towards the ground, Jayson Tatum turns his attention to his beloved hometown of St. Louis for his Air Max 97s, which boast a prideful Cardinals-esque red, black, and white colorway. The mudguard’s graphic print/silver midsole both shout out the Gateway Arch, and the ‘Lou’s 314 area code appears on the outsole.

Each pair’s release is staggered by a week, and each will release exclusively at House Of Hoops two days before fully rolling out to stores in the extended Foot Locker family. The De’Aaron Fox Air Max 1 kicks things off on May 30th/June 1st, followed by the Devin Booker Air Force 1 on June 6th/June 8th, while the series is then concluded by the Jayson Tatum Air Max 97 on June 13th/June 15th.
