More Gradient Uppers Appear On The Nike Air Max Plus

Although Nike’s Air Max Plus is certainly no stranger to gradients, they’re usually of a brightly colored variety. However, the Plus is certainly capable of toning things down too: it’s surfaced with a new black/grey gradient fade that’s perfect for the more discerning Air Max lover. The upper starts with a pitch-black on the toebox before fading to a medium grey on the midfoot and a pale grey on the heel, while the black plastic overlays add a striking touch of dark detail to both ends of the spectrum. Hot red accents then appear on the Swoosh branding, lacing system, and tongue for a bold punch of color. The midsole/outsole combine red and black to similar effect, and this Plus is then wrapped up with a timeless yellow TN badge on the heel.
