Although cold winds are still whipping around much of the country, there’s plenty of warm hope in the air. The worst of winter is seemingly behind us, and spring is coming into clearer focus by the day. Of course, spring means colorful new sneakers — and ASICS has begun their warm weather-ready rollout. After a five-pack of new GEL-Lyte III colorways surfaced earlier this week, we now have a look at a trio of new takes on another important silhouette in the Japanese brand’s lifestyle lineup: the GEL-Lyte V. Using a stark black, a soft grey, and an airy white as the base, each shoe’s main design points appear towards the heel with a bright assortment of neon colors. Red/volt/blue grace the black pair, sky blue/orange/pink/volt hit the grey pair, and sky blue/gold/red accents the white pair. Each shoe also features a contrasting sock-like tongue, and both the grey and the white colorway’s looks are completed with a speckled midsole. These new GEL-Lytes will release at Japanese stockists like atmos on February 15th, with a retail price of 12,000 yen, or roughly $110 USD. A stateside release is likely to follow shortly thereafter, so grab a detailed look at all three new makeups below while you wait.
