Each and every basketball season, the NCAA’s top Jordan Brand schools receive player exclusive versions of the Jumpman’s top performance-engineered models. For the most part, MJ’s alma mater – the University of North Carolina – leads the way with Tar Heel-branded versions done up in that recognizable shade of baby blue. Of course, that is no different this year when it comes to the FastFit-infused Air Jordan 33. Equipped with the brand’s newest wave of innovative technology, it will not be long before schools the likes of Michigan, Georgetown, and Marquette get in on the action. Keeping the Air Jordan 3-inspired tongue partially intact, the right foot ushers in the usual Jumpman emblem, while its left-footed counterpart opts for a familiar “NC” hit. For the die hard Tar Heel fans out there, we have bad news, as this pair will likely be reserved exclusively for friends and family of the program. Nonetheless, enjoy a first look at the Air Jordan 33 “UNC” PE here and stay tuned for more from the Jordan Brand family.
