adidas And Y-3 Launch The BYW BBALL Shoe

adidas And Y-3 Launch The BYW BBALL Shoe

adidas’ BYW silhouette is undeniably one of the most unique silhouettes the Three Stripes has to offer right now due in large part to the combination of its vintage inspiration and its modernized technology. One of the few things that could make the BYW even more noticeable is the use of design stylings from Yohji Yamamoto and his Y-3 label. Having partnered together on a vast array of models, adidas and Y-3 are ready to bring the world a model ready for both the court and the streets. Red acts as this particular offering’s clear focal point, as black and white are ushered into other elements of its upper for contrast. Yamamoto’s signature can be seen inscribed onto its forefoot in white, to match it’s full length BOOST midsole unit.

While Y-3 may not be the Three Stripe’s most talked about sub-brand, it is certainly one of its most consistent, as all of its footwear entrants are immediately recognizable upon first glance. Pairs of the adidas Y-3 BBALL shoe are currently available at select adidas retailers now, so grab a first look here and tell us what you think of the new look.
