Before, after, and during this year’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, Jordan Brand sponsored schools the likes of the University of Michigan and Georgetown University were given Air Jordan 3 PEs dressed in their school colors. This is nothing new for universities that sport a Jumpman on their jerseys, as we have seen players and team taker the court and/or field in some of the most enviable sneakers across all of sports. After signing with Jordan Brand in December of 2017, the University of Florida Gators will become the next distinguished University to receive a slue of statement-making PEs.
Dressed in a Gator-friendly combination of blue and orange, an entire array of Jordan sneakers from the Air Jordan 1 all the way to the Air Jordan 2012 – with everything in between – was previewed on the Gators Football team IG page. While all of these Jumpman classics will likely be limited to friends and family of the University’s Athletics programs, there will likely be a few leaks that make their way into the public. While some offerings the likes of the Air Jordan 5 usher in Gator blue, most of the models likes the Air Jordan 11 utilize a primarily orange and white color scheme.
