Designer Eric Emanuel Teases adidas Crazy BWY Collaboration

Designer Eric Emanuel is known for his updated takes on classic sportswear pieces and aesthetics. Starting out by creating custom throwback jerseys adorned with premium materials like python skin, Emanuel has since launched his own eponymous line and is now collaborating with adidas for a retro-styled take on the Crazy BYW.

Teased by Emanuel himself on his Instagram, the shoe features an upper that appears to be mostly constructed of burgundy leather and suede, while accents are provided by abstract white lines, orange lace loops, and a large patch of sandy-colored suede on the toebox. The shoe’s lateral side features more sand suede detailing, and a bold two-tone yellow and pink midfoot shank that adds to the retro aesthetic. The shoe’s look is completed with a white Boost midsole and burgundy outsole. No official pricing/release info has been released, but Emanuel indicated that the shoes would be available at his New York pop-up starting today. Updates will be posted as they’re available so be sure to keep it locked here, and be sure to check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for info on other upcoming releases.
