The Nike Kyrie 4 “Power Is Female” Releases This Week

After being debuted by teammate Jayson Tatum in the Celtics’ ECF Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving‘s “Power Is Female” iteration of the Nike Kyrie 4 is set to officially release this week. Featuring an aqua upper with light blue accents on the tongue branding and the midfoot swoosh, the shoe’s female-centric graphics arrive via a heel collar and midfoot swathed in an embossed all-over print featuring sayings like “Power Is Female” “A New Generation” and “Fe Nom.” The symbol of the Roman god Venus—a commonly used indicator for “female—arrives on the heel, cleverly combined with a basketball graphic, and the shoe’s look is completed with a speckled midsole and a two-tone outsole featuring orange and white outriggers. Look for these female-first Kyrie 4s to release this Friday, June 15th and retail for $120 USD. Need a new pair of summer-ready hoop shoes?
