After debuting as a preemptive MVP tribute sneaker last week, James Harden‘s adidas BTE 2 has now surfaced in five clean new colorways. Unfortunately for Harden, he’ll have to enjoy the quintet of new shoes from the comfort of his home this offseason, as he shot a woeful 2-13 from three while his Houston Rockets were unceremoniously eliminated from the NBA Playoffs by Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and the Golden State Warriors last night.
Arriving in a bold volt/black, a simple white/silver, a stately white/red, a tonal grey, and a classic black/grey, all five of the low-top sneakers feature a Harden logo on the tongue, a reinforced heel and toe cap for extra support, a Bounce midsole for springy and responsive cushioning, and a semi-translucent outsole. No official release date or pricing information has been unveiled for the Beard’s latest signature silhouette yet, but look for them to arrive on adidas.com later this summer.
