On the heels of his recently released data-driven training collection, American designer Matthew M. Williams, took to IG stories to tease a collaboration with the Swoosh on the Vapor Street Flyknit. A Vapor Street Flyknit collaboration makes perfect sense for Williams, as he has been quoted saying that, “What computational design and computer data can offer is really the future of design. It helps to create a different perspective that we can build around.” Utilizing data derived from race day technology and runner’s preferences, the Vapor Street Flyknit fits Williams’ desired aesthetic seamlessly. Not much has been revealed regarding this shoe just yet, but we do know that it sports an almost entirely black color scheme, much like his recent line of apparel.
No specific release information has been reported at the moment, but text on the midsole of the sneaker points toward a drop this Summer. Stay tuned for updates as we have them and check out more Nike shoes to buy while you wait.
