Kanye West’s extensive month-long Twitter binge is showing no signs of slowing down or stopping, and after unveiling everything from never-before seen sample colorways of the 350 Boost to a Yeezy “basketball shoe” to a second iteration of the much-loved 700 Bost, ‘Ye recently revealed an original sample of the very first Yeezy 350 Boost in the now-iconic “Turtle Dove” colorway. The sample bears several similarities to the final retail release, but the main pre-production differences arrive via a black collar instead of the grey that adorned the retail release, a much larger and thicker heel tab, a slight ridge in the midsole by the heel, and what appears to be a significantly higher cut around the front half of the aforementioned heel collar.
There’s no telling where Kanye’s Twitter will wander to next and if we’ll get a look at more Yeezy footwear designs, but for more adidas news, be sure to check out the recently-unveiled “Son Goku” ZX500 RM from the upcoming Dragon Ball Z pack.
