Footpatrol is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of a past New Balance 576 collaboration by re-issuing the black colorway of that 2007 duet. What made that release rather interesting is that it allowed sneakerheads to interchange the “N” logo on the upper and replace it with another velcro-patched option, a detail that we’ve seen in some recent drops like KITH’s New Balance 574 Sport release this year. For the 2017 “retro”, the UK-based boutique is replacing the patch option and opting for a colorful mix of logos that alternate on all four sidewalls of the shoes.
The sneaker will be limited to 260 pairs and will include a dual-branded tote bag and a sticker sheet featuring the artwork of Pete Hellicar, the artist that produced the original designs from the 2007 release as well. The Footpatrol x New Balance 576 is scheduled to release on Black Friday, November 24th, exclusively at Footpatrol’s Soho London and online store.
