Jordan Brand approached one of the biggest names in the hip-hop world to help them promote one of their retro models recently. And no, we’re not talking about Drake. Houston’s own Travis Scott has been hard at work putting out some of the most well-received rap albums as of late, and the Jumpman hit up Travis to transform the Jordan Trunner LX into a relevant lifestyle look. The Trunner has come back in a number of new and old colorways alike over the past year, but the early 2000s model hadn’t captivated an audience until Travis introduced his “Cactus Jack” take on it late last week. In an interview with Jordan Brand’s blog, Travis said, “I didn’t want to do anything traditional. I’ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it.
