It’s well documented that many sneakerheads are beginning to feel overwhelmed by the never-ending slew of Air Jordan 1 colorways. The Air Jordan 1 has pretty much become Jordan Brand’s equivalent of the Dunk or Air Force 1, a simple design that lends itself nicely to a variety of different color combinations. Many Jordan-heads feel like the onslaught of AJ1’s has perhaps been overkill, but here’s a look at some new versions on the way that might make them change their tune. We’ve already given you a look at most of the Air Jordan 1 Holiday 2009 collection, but here are a couple late additions that will be most welcomed to the family. In addition to the Sixty Plus inspired colorways, there will also be four new High models with some serious style.
The gems of the collection appear to be two tonal colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier, one Varsity Blue and the other Varsity Red, both with White outsoles and linings with some decorative stitching patterns on the toe box and mid panels. Joining those will be two rather flashy Air Jordan 1 Retro Highs. One pair sports a tonal Dark Obsidian patent leather upper and the other is dipped in a solid shade of shiny Metallic Zinc. Keep reading after the jump for a closer look at the whole batch of Air Jordan 1’s and be sure to stay tuned for specific release info in the near future.
