Sergio Lozano’s iconic homage to the natural structure of the human foot has been a fan-favorite Nike retro running offering since it released in 1995. We’re talking about the Nike Air Max 95 of course, with its strange yet enticing side panel waves, mesh netting, and head-turning midsole unit complete with the patented visible air throughout. Nike Sportswear has revamped and remixed the silhouette countless times in the two decades since its release including the slimmed down Nike Air Max 95 No-Sew. The special edition Dave White collaboration will release on September 16th featuring the new combination of no-sew and Ultra outsole tooling. Just in case you can’t wait for that release, there’s this tonal grey release available today.
The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra No-Sew takes the silhouette and modernizes it thanks to a seamless construction that sheds some weight. The side panel waves are still there in spirit and color blocking with a grey gradient working from light to dark. The midsole unit is inspired by the Ultra Moire running model with extra indentations providing a flawless lightweight ride that rids itself of the bulkiness found in the 21 year old model.
