ASICS‘ in-house colorists have always been open to experimenting with their retro lineup to bring a completely unique twist to some of the more traditional running models. We saw that thought process with the revitalization of the imprint in the form of ASICS Tiger a year and a half ago, and now the ever-recognizable ASICS Gel Lyte III and ASICS Gel Lyte V return with some head-turning constructions for Summer 2016. A new breathable mesh is utilized throughout the upper complete with a bolstered ventilation unit between the piping perfect for keeping your feet cool while retaining the classic shape of both models. Vibrant dashes of either teal or red stand out atop muted suede panels to match speckled midsoles as well. What do you think of the experimental take on both classic runners? Check out a better view below and stay tuned for stateside availability later this summer.
