When running shoes are made, much is made of structural support, how long the model will last, and how basically indestructible the silhouette is to truly get your money’s worth. The Nike Mayfly turned that notion completely upside down as the model was made to last only 100km. Named after the mayfly insect that has an incredibly short lifespan, the Nike Mayfly ditched any unnecessary add-ons to give a runner a comfortable no-frills model allowing those competitive long-distancers an advantage for each race. The Mayfly delved into lifestyle territory with woven options not too long ago, but the original is back featuring a simple Black and Grey colorway. Check out a better view below and stay tuned for a stateside return come Spring 2016.
