Outside of Hoosiers, Spike Lee’s He Got Game is about as iconic a basketball movie as can be. It tells the perils of High School recruiting from major colleges with sometimes dubious tactics and for sneakerheads, well, it has the added benefit of a ton of awesome Nike Basketball models from the early aughts. Now Nike is paying homage to Ray Allen’s iconic turn to acting as Jesus Shuttlesworth with a very special “Make Up Class of ’97” that takes two of the more noteworthy selections from the movie – the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl” and the oft-forgotten Nike Zoom Hawk Flight – and groups them together in an awesomely nostalgic pack. Today we get a look at the 2015 retro of the Pearl Foamposite, and you can tell that the outsole is a noticeable icier shade than before while the white ‘Pearl’ base is as freshly white as can be. So far we’ve yet to see what the Hawk Flight retro will look like, but the good news is the pack finally has a release date: December 19th, 2015 and will retail for a very reasonable $385.
