Nike’s revisiting two of Tinker Hatfield’s most iconic designs for the holidays, this time giving the Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Huarache a new-aged twist to liven up your wardrobe. Hatfield has been responsible for some of your favorite Swoosh retros and here the inspiration of the Nike Air Safari lands in the form of the original cement speckle on an update fuse and mesh version of 1987’s classic Air Max 1. The Nike Huarache Utility pays homage to the 1991 Huarache retro that’s been dominating the streetwear scene for the past year and a half as new updates like Dynamic Flywire and a slimmed down heel construction bring the model up to speed. The teal and deep yellow aesthetic is straight from an OG Huarahce colorway. What do you think? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for release details in the near future.
