Michael J. Fox just received what may be the first (and perhaps only) pair of the self-lacing Nike Mags out right now. In a letter from Tinker Hatfield to the legendary actor who portrayed the fictional Marty McFly, we learned that the self-lacing Nike Mags will indeed release, and given that there are goals set to exceed the $9.4 million fetched by the 2011 release, there may be more than 1,500 pairs produced. Even if there isn’t the self-lacing versions of the Back To The Future shoes will certainly see a much high ceiling than the non-lacing versions. The Nike Mag is confirmed to release in Spring 2016, so get a first look here on Fox’s feet.

A video of Michael J. Fox trying out the self-lacing shoes surfaces. “Isn’t that crazy?” asks Nike CEO Mark Parker.
