Will we see a retro of the Nike Air Zoom Generation anytime soon? After watching this video we continue to fiend for one. LeBron sat down with GQ’s Will Welch and Mark Anthony Green to talk the most priceless item in his wardrobe. After listening to the two style editors talk about their custom pieces, The King pulled out a pair you should be familiar with: the “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation. Worn against the Denver Nuggets during LeBron’s rookie year, the pair serves as a commemorative piece of LeBron’s first time playing in front of his hometown crowd in the NBA. The camera even shows us a close-up of the stitching on the inner lining that reads 11-5-2003 for the date that he played in the game. In the video LeBron also talks about the origins of his Dunkman logo and speaks on the mental advantage he has when playing against an opponent who decided to rock LeBrons saying, “if you’re just a guy who goes to Foot Locker or somewhere and you go get a pair of ‘Brons and you want to wear them on a Tuesday night vs. me, I’m gonna bust your ass.” The video is worth the watch.
