The year was 1992 and a young but giant phenom named Shaquille O’Neal made his way to Orlando where he proceeded to tear down rims and help the Magic become a team that mattered in the NBA. Like few other rookies before or since, Shaq entered right into the NBA with a major sneaker deal and his first signature model set to go for his rookie season. This was, of course, the Reebok Shaq Attaq. The Shaq Attaq line continued for three more editions until the Shaqnosis took over in 1996. Now paying homage to the Shaq Attaq line, Reebok Classic has created a brand new signature hybrid, dubbed the Shaq Attacked. Get it? The shoe features a heavy lean towards the first Shaq Attaq model’s design, with some hints of the Shaq Attaq III’s pinstripes and perhaps even some wavy lines influenced by the Shaqnosis. The result is a new new silhouette not to be missed by any hardcore Shaquille O’Neal fan. Look for the Reebok Shaq Attacked soon from select Reebok Classic retailers.
