The Nike Lunar Force 1 has occupied an interesting space since debuting all the way back in fall of 2012. The shoe has showcased that the addition of a slimmed down lunarlon outsole has given it the freedom to work with new-aged fuse constructions as well as continue to carve out a lifestyle niche with collaborative efforts (most recently from UNDFTD and an upcoming Acronym take that champions a gaudy zipper construction). The added comfort and lightweight mobility has still kept the traditional construction of Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 classic intact in some circumstances, like these two new micro-perforated pairs. Donning a clean icy outsole in a hypnotizing blue, a white speckled lunar midsole allows for Cool Grey and either Wolf Grey or Blue Force to work on the panels for a simplistic, uncomplicated take on the reimagined AF1.
