New Balance aficionados rejoice – the once-in-every-five-year model in the New Balance 1300 JP is arriving stateside for only the second time in history on March 28th. Initially introduced in 1985, the silhouette featured superior craftmanship complete with a Vibram sole. At the time, it was praised by runners for the superior cushioning system and was known as ‘the shoe version of a luxury car’ for the luxe ride. Now the M1300 returns outside Japan for the first time since 2010, as the Vibram outsole returns to match the original. Crafted in New Balance’s Skowhegan, Maine factory, the ‘Made in USA’ details are unmatched. Are you a fan of this rare NB pair returning? It’ll cost you upwards of $300 and they’re in limited supply.
